Chicago/Champaign IL – Because of the festivals continued success: The third annual, Moving Image Festival (MIF) will be presenting two screening: first in Chicago on April 18th and second in Champaign/Urbana on April 25th. This years Moving Image Festival is a cross genre, film festival of Video, Dance for Camera, Animation and Moving-Image Work, selected from submissions from the undergraduate, graduate students and alumni at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) in combination with works from professional artist in Chicago. Come check it out. It’s FREE!!!!

Moving Image Festival

Third annual: Champaign IL, Moving Image Festival (MIF) is moving to Chicago April 18th at the Paulina Arts Studio! The Moving Images Festival is a cross genre, film festival of Video, Dance for Camera, Animation and Moving-Image Work. MIF has been successfully produced in Urbana/ Champaign for the last two years. Produced by Chicago Artists and MFA recipient Laura Chiaramonte, MIF is excited to announce the continuation of the festival here in Chicago. In combination with the festival in Urbana/Champaign, this year’s festival will be selected from submissions from Chicago artists in combination with the undergraduate, graduate students and alumni at the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the students of the University and Chicago artists to show work along side one another. There will be two showings! The first will be held in Chicago on April 18th and the second in Urbana/Champaign on April 25th. If you are interested in submitting work, pleases mail a SASE with a data dvd quick time file, artist bio and a brief description of your work by April 9th to:
